About

I’m Alex.
I run this studio.

Secondary Character Studios is a one-person studio in Toronto. I build websites and small workflow tools for people with a real idea and nobody to build it with — voice actors, indie creators, small local businesses.

The short version

I’m a builder by trade. Years as an architect in ecommerce, years in game development. The studio is what I do with that experience now — small, embedded, focused on people who’d otherwise be stuck in templates that don’t fit.

One person. No account managers between you and the work. I stay involved after launch and I don’t disappear when the bill is paid.

And yes — those are acting headshots. I do that too.

What working with me looks like

  1. 01

    We talk first.

Either through Anton on the homepage or directly over email — your call. The point is to understand what you’re actually trying to make before anyone signs anything.

  2. 02

I sketch a plan in plain English.

No jargon, no agency-style proposal deck. A short doc that says what we’re building, what it’ll cost, what it won’t do, and when you’ll see it.

  3. 03

    You see something working, fast.

Not slides, not wireframes — a draft you can click through, often within days. The AI tooling I use compresses the parts of the work that used to take weeks.

  4. 04

    We iterate live.

You stay in the loop the whole way. Feedback turns into changes the same day, not next sprint. There’s no account manager between you and the work.

  5. 05

    I don’t disappear after launch.

Brand sites come with a 30-day fix window — after that, you email me when something needs to change. Full build and workflow clients usually take Ongoing Support so they have someone on call. Whatever puts more money back in your pocket.

Anton handles first-pass conversations on the homepage. Or skip him and write to me directly — same inbox either way.
