Elana Dunkelman —
Actor & Voice.

A multi-room showcase site for a Toronto-based actor whose career spans film & TV, video games, animation, and writing, built so a casting director finds the right work in one click, no matter which medium they came here for.

Split-screen hero

Casting for an actor like Elana looks at her work across half a dozen mediums: Fenyx Rising, Ready or Not, Hotel Transylvania, ACTRA-Toronto union work. The hero splits the screen: portrait on the left, reels and demos on the right, both first-class from the first second.

Beyond the hero

A walk through the rest of the site, each room earning its place for a different kind of casting visit.

Bio & wavelengths

Three reads, named out loud.

Elana describes her own range (Sassy Best Friend, Surprise Package, Heart of the Scene) so casting directors don't have to. The wavelengths sit right under the bio, with the union, agent, and IMDb info that gets a remote read greenlit.

Selected credits section of elanadunkelman.co

Selected credits

Four mediums, one column each.

Film & TV beside video games beside animation beside audiobooks. Recognizable credits like Ready or Not, Immortals Fenyx Rising (Canadian Game Awards nom.), and LEGO DreamZzz sit next to network and studio so a director can place her instantly.

Stills that match the wavelength.

Headshots and on-set frames spanning the range: period drama, present-day, comedy, dramatic. A casting director who came for the comedy can see the dramatic on the same scroll.

Build notes

  1. 01

    Range is the differentiator.

Most actor sites show one face. Elana's career spans film, TV, video games, animation, and writing. Flattening that to a single look would hide the work. The site's job is to make the breadth visible without burying any one role.

  2. 02

Let the bio carry the design POV.

Elana already wrote the right description of her range: three named wavelengths. The site doesn't compete with that; it lays the wavelengths out as a row of three, and lets credits, demos, and stills back each one up.

  3. 03

    Audio and video, both first-class.

Voice acting and on-camera acting need different proof. The hero gives equal real estate to a video reel player and an audio demo player, both with category tabs (video game, acting, commercial, animation). No second click to find the right read.

  4. 04

    When the work spans formats.

Different pattern than the single-page Brand site: six rooms instead of one, audio and video both featured, credits laid out by medium. When a career spans formats, hiding any one of them is hiding the work.

From Elana

“Alex is basically a website wizard. Lightning fast, incredibly responsive, and just a joy to work with. He made the whole process feel easy (and even fun??), and the final result is beyond what I imagined. I love love LOVE my site.”
